A Registered Fullblood Romagnola crossed with a Registered animal from another breed will be registered as a 50% Romagnola composite.
Guidelines for other breeds:
1. A Registered Fullblood Romagnola crossed with a Registered animal from another breed will be registered as a 50% Romagnola composite.
2. The upbreeding program will continue to be recorded as a % Romagnola composite up to 93.75% (15/16). At this point the animal will be registered as a Purebred.Â
3. The upbreeding program must always consist of a Registered Fullblood Romagnola.
4. A Registered Fullblood Romagnola crossed with a commercial animal can be registered as a 50% Romagnola composite for non-breeding purposes. This will allow for shows which require registration and provide documentation for commercially fed animals.
